ESCCO’s clients are non-profit organizations. This includes 501(c) (3)’s, schools, religious organizations and government agencies that desire to improve their business performance. ESCCO has assisted more than 100 clients since 1995.
An ESCCO team of volunteer consultants can perform a management review that focuses on some or all of the following areas:
The Client initiates the process by requesting assistance from ESCCO that identifies the specific management issues that the nonprofit has.
ESCCO assembles a Project Team to work with the Client to address the issues identified. The process will involve interviews, observation, research and communication over the course of the project term. Generally a team spends 100+ hours on a project as the volunteer consultants analyze and develop recommendations. At the end of the project, the team makes one or more presentations to the client and its board, with specific recommendations.
Clients report back that an ESCCO review provides outside perspective, new insights, validation of their mission, improved operations and even new friendships.
All consultants are volunteers who are accomplished professionals with a variety of experience and expertise. They desire to give back to the community by helping nonprofits improve on the business side of their organization so nonprofits can operate more efficiently to realize their mission.
We are very grateful to our corporate partners and grant making organizations that support ESCCO projects, many at no cost to our nonprofit clients. Other projects are funded by the nonprofits themselves.
